CMF Design Intern (Sustainability)

What you will do

• Contribute to early-stage CMF ideation and develop creative product design concepts.
• Create sketches, renderings, prototypes, and rapid 3D-printed physical models.
• Curate visual mood and emotional tone for innovation projects and present design concepts in reviews.
• Research sustainable materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends, including bio-based mono materials.
• Prepare visual proofs of concept, presentations, and design guides for circular materials.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to validate design feasibility through physical modeling.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Industrial Design, Textile & Surface Design, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability frameworks and material innovation.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion, or Creo, plus digital design tools.
• Strong sketching and rendering skills with close attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
