What you will do
- Define the visual identity and design language across customer-facing product experiences.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system with policies, primitives, style guides, design tokens, and interaction patterns.
- Translate complex robotic operations into clear workflows for field operators, site managers, and enterprise decision-makers.
- Design data products that help users understand system-generated data and act on it confidently.
- Establish design system governance, versioning, and contribution processes.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering from concept through production while advocating for user needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems design with a strong portfolio of visual craft and shipped digital products.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems, including component libraries, style guides, design tokens, and usage documentation.
- Understanding of Human-Robot Interaction and the challenges of designing systems where humans and robots collaborate.
- Expertise in Figma and strong data visualization skills.
- Systems thinking and the ability to connect individual interactions to a broader platform design language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience designing for robotics, autonomous systems, IoT, or hardware-software products.
- Platform-level UX experience involving information architecture, navigation, and scalability.
- Familiarity with real-time data interfaces, mapping, geospatial UX, or multi-site environments.
- Experience prototyping interactions and micro-animations.
- Experience establishing design culture and driving design system adoption across engineering teams.
