Training Center Manager (Aviation)

What you will do

• Lead the Integrated Platform Team (IPT) to meet customer needs and ensure adequate prioritisation.
• Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for the customer's Logistics Authority.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a matrixed organisation to ensure compliant delivery of contract outcomes.
• Develop and maintain the Annual Work Plan in coordination with the Key Account Manager.
• Manage on-site risk and act as the first point of escalation for team issues and WHS matters.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
• Ability to work on-site at RAAF Base Amberley 4-5 days a week.
• Strong experience in front-line or operational leadership.
• Defence experience, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Electronic/Avionic Trades qualification.

Nice to have

• Project Management Qualification such as Prince2, PMP, or AIPM.
• Experience with Systems Engineering and/or technology projects.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing project financials and cost control metrics (EAC, ETC, EVM).
