Functional Application Architect (CPQ)

Location: US - OR, Lake Oswego

Salary: $144,600.00–$198,800.00 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end functional design of Salesforce CPQ processes, including product catalogs, pricing rules, and quoting workflows.
• Translate high-level epics and business needs into detailed blueprints and user stories.
• Collaborate with product owners, sales operations, and delivery teams across multiple time zones.
• Govern business data flows and oversee integrations across CRM, billing, revenue recognition, and fulfillment systems.
• Establish enterprise-wide best practices for product modeling, pricing governance, and approval workflows.
• Provide expert-level production support in an agile delivery environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem with a strong functional focus on Salesforce CPQ.
• Deep understanding of quote-to-cash processes, pricing strategies, and order lifecycle management.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable functional designs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence in an agile delivery environment.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams and working across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Application Architect certification.
• Experience integrating CPQ and Order Management with ERP, billing, and revenue recognition systems.
• Familiarity with subscription models, renewals, amendments, and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience with tax engines, payment processing, and global compliance requirements.
• Exposure to automation and AI-driven pricing or quoting optimization.
