Process Excellence Engineer

Location: Mount Holly, North Carolina, USA; onsite

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical support to production plants by troubleshooting recurring process and production upsets.
• Lead systems, procedures, and process improvement initiatives using MES, PI, TrendMiner, and Power BI.
• Analyze OEE and UEE data to identify reliability and capacity improvement opportunities.
• Support process safety activities, including PSM audits and Process Hazard Analyses.
• Contribute process expertise to CAPEX projects, including scope definition, Management of Change, and commissioning.
• Support automation, sustainability, environmental initiatives, operator training, and the commercialization of new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or the chemical industry; chemical processing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of DCS systems is desired.
• Project management experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and/or statistical analysis are desired.
• Work onsite in Mount Holly, North Carolina, USA.
