Site Manufacturing Technology Leader (Chemical Mechanical Planarization)

What you will do

• Lead the Newark CMP Manufacturing Technology Execution organization, including engineers and technical specialists.
• Set technical priorities and allocate resources across process improvement, capital support, troubleshooting, and operational needs.
• Drive improvements in yield, quality, uptime, capacity, process capability, and manufacturing competitiveness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex equipment and process issues in partnership with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Site Engineering, and R&D.
• Own equipment qualification and technical plans for commissioning, start-up, shutdown, decommissioning, and Management of Change.
• Develop and support capital improvement projects, including basic data, design reviews, acceptance tests, commissioning, scope, cost, schedule, and installed quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or an appropriate science field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including technical leadership in an industrial plant.
• Experience supervising or leading a technical team.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment and process issues.
• Knowledge of mechanical and chemical manufacturing processes, analytical problem-solving, and Six Sigma methodology.
• Ability to work with Process Safety Management requirements and manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects.

Nice to have

• Industrial plant experience with PSM-critical processes and systems.
• Experience in equipment automation, polymer manufacturing, film coating, or web and discrete converting operations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent structured problem-solving certification.
• Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, team building, and achieving results through influence and negotiation.
