TL;DR

Logistics Specialist (Supply chain logistics): Coordinate secure transport and accountability of classified and sensitive materials, including chain of custody documentation, dispatch/routing, and operational tracking. Focus on secure material handling, movement monitoring, and compliance with security and transportation procedures in fast-paced, high-tempo environments.

Location: Conducted in ~160 day rotations in Australia

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute secure transport and delivery of classified, sensitive, and mission-critical materials between operational sites and government facilities.
• Maintain strict chain of custody procedures and accountability documentation per government security requirements and SOPs.
• Perform secure material handling (receipt, inspection, packaging, inventory verification, transfer, and safeguarding).
• Plan and coordinate movement schedules, routing plans, dispatch activities, and delivery priorities to meet mission timelines.
• Interface with government personnel, security representatives, operations centers, transportation personnel, and site leadership on movement status.
• Prepare operational reports, transportation logs, accountability records, incident documentation, and status updates for government review.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• Working knowledge of chain of custody procedures, secure handling requirements, and operational reporting practices.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, supply operations, secure courier operations, military logistics, or related operational support.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to coordinate multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and operational tracking systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice to have

• Prior military, deployed operations, or contingency logistics experience.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics or operational programs.
• Familiarity with NAVSUP Mail Tracking System and other logistics/reporting systems.
• Experience operating in austere or high operational tempo environments.
