IT Logistics Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL, USA; non-remote

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and implement logistics plans for the acquisition, storage, distribution, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, technical teams, vendors, and government stakeholders to support timely equipment delivery and deployment.
• Maintain records for hardware, software licenses, peripherals, configuration data, inventories, distribution logs, and related documentation.
• Conduct inventories, audits, and asset reconciliations while tracking resources throughout their lifecycle.
• Support technology refreshes, hardware replacement programs, infrastructure modernization, maintenance, renewals, and warranty activities.
• Ensure secure handling, transportation, storage, accountability, and policy compliance for government-owned equipment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• At least one year of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, asset management, customer support, or related operations.
• Experience maintaining records, schedules, reports, inventories, documentation, or configuration management processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Army and DoD logistics, procurement, and asset management procedures.
• Experience with IT asset management, hardware lifecycle management, technology refreshes, or enterprise asset management platforms.
• Knowledge of software licensing, equipment accountability, and logistics tracking systems.
