Logistics Specialist - Distribution Planning and Execution

Location: USA Remote with up to 10% travel to client and customer locations

Salary: $71,000–$97,900 base salary per year

What you will do

• Support site distribution plans and align warehouse positioning with installation schedules and site readiness.
• Maintain warehouse mix plans covering SKUs, quantities, and timing based on supply, inventory, and project demand.
• Coordinate staging, kitting, outbound readiness, transportation timing, and warehouse releases for site deliveries.
• Track material readiness, warehouse output, and installation milestone alignment.
• Resolve material shortages, inventory imbalances, and flow inefficiencies.
• Apply logistics engineering principles and drive improvements in material flow, inventory positioning, and delivery sequencing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, warehouse operations, or related roles.
• Experience with multi-site coordination, inventory flow, or project-based execution.
• Working knowledge of inventory, warehouse, staging, kitting, fulfillment, transportation, and delivery processes.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or planning tools to track inventory and execution.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
