Logistics Technician

Location: Morton, Illinois, United States. 100% on-site with no hybrid or remote schedule; relocation is not offered. First shift, Monday–Friday, with up to 5% domestic travel.

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year.

What you will do

• Manage approximately 25 suppliers supporting aftermarket parts and maintain adequate supply for dealer and customer demand.
• Monitor production schedules, shipments, order fulfillment, and supplier shipping performance.
• Resolve supply constraints caused by demand, backlogs, production capacity, costs, minimum order quantities, and sourcing challenges.
• Coordinate with procurement buyers to qualify alternate suppliers and address supplier-related issues.
• Partner with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve material issues and support alternative materials that meet product requirements.
• Analyze supply, demand, and inventory impacts, manage PartsViz and supplier tickets, and drive corrective actions to improve parts availability.

Requirements

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of logistics management and the movement of materials and finished products.
• Knowledge of supplier relationship and transaction management for raw materials or product components.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, procurement, engineering, logistics, and operations teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Morton, Illinois, Monday–Friday on the first shift.

Nice to have

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience with SAP, Material Requirements Collaboration, or similar planning and supplier collaboration tools.
• Experience resolving supplier scheduling, delivery, inventory, or performance issues.
• Previous hirify.global experience and familiarity with hirify.global systems, processes, and supplier networks.
