Logistics Analyst (Government Property)

Location: Onsite in Sterling, Virginia, United States. The role includes warehouse work, local transportation, periodic CONUS travel with overnight travel 1–2 times per month, and work in inclement weather when required. Schedule: 9/80, Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30.

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Manage receiving, inventory, shipping, transportation, data entry, audits, and material issuance.
• Pack shipments and crate or palletize accountable equipment.
• Create property and material catalog entries and maintain lifecycle records in tracking systems.
• Conduct physical inventories and support government property and consumable material management.
• Prepare and manage offsite shipments and logistics functions during local and CONUS travel.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and power and hand tools.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience; a university degree or equivalent experience is typically required.
• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory tracking, receiving, shipping, transportation, and audits.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1 property management processes.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and perform extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, and ladder climbing.
• Willingness to obtain and pass a valid DOT medical card for CMV operations.

Nice to have

• Experience creating DD250, DD1348, DD1149, and SF1428 documents.
• Experience with the Sunflower government property management system.
• Experience leading or participating in Contractor Self Assessments related to property management systems.
• Familiarity with property disposition processes for accountable government assets.
