Manager II, Logistics Operations

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate closely with outsourced logistics providers and internal planning, ordering, purchasing, and customer account teams.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and conduct physical inventory checks.
• Manage warehousing operations and commitment methodologies according to business needs.
• Determine staffing needs and support recruitment, training, retention, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Prepare activity and status reports, operational review inputs, and excess or obsolete inventory analyses.
• Create claims for lost or damaged hirify.global inventory and assist suppliers with parts claims.

Requirements

• Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within logistics operations and related job families.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to use judgment to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Ability to work with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams using tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments where noise may be difficult for some individuals.
