Principal Partner Solution Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote-first within the United States, with offices in San Jose, California and Draper, Utah; willingness to travel approximately 25% for client, partner, or office visits. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Estimated annual base salary: $20,800–$260,000 for San Jose-based roles; $176,800–$221,000 for Draper, Utah-based roles. The role may also include bonus and equity participation.

What you will do

• Lead technical discussions with senior internal and external stakeholders, including C-level, IT, and product leaders.
• Run partner workshops, document solutions, identify integration paths, and provide user training.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture sessions to maintain quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while delivering work within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate developers, product managers, and internal and external IT teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in technical or management consulting, solution architecture, or systems integration, ideally in AP/AR or financial services.
• Experience delivering end-to-end technical architectures and solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Client-facing experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and presenting technical concepts.
• Hands-on API integration and management experience, including REST, SOAP, and custom APIs.
• Knowledge of web services, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, middleware, SaaS, microservices, and data integration.
• Proficiency with programming or scripting languages such as Java, C#, Python, and SQL, plus front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
