What you will do

• Act as the primary U.S. tax subject matter expert for product development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to define and prioritize tax-related product requirements.
• Review product designs, workflows, and calculations to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Translate complex tax legislation and regulatory changes into actionable software requirements.
• Monitor IRS guidance and industry trends to advise on product strategy and functionality.
• Support quality assurance activities by validating tax-related features and diagnostics.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in U.S. tax compliance, preparation, or advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal income tax rules and compliance processes.
• Experience with tax software solutions and SaaS product environments.
• Ability to interpret tax legislation and translate it into practical business solutions.
