Owner is an AI-native system that provides an all-in-one platform for local business owners, including website management, online ordering, CRM, and POS solutions.

What you will do

• Lead the ERP migration from QuickBooks Online to an AI-first platform, including end-to-end design of integrations with Stripe, Bill.com, Ramp, and Salesforce.
• Establish inventory and COGS accounting, including defining FIFO vs. weighted-average policies and building an inventory subledger.
• Build the international accounting foundation, supporting multi-entity reporting, consolidation, and intercompany eliminations for global expansion.
• Deploy AI and automation tools across reconciliations and close tasks to reduce manual data entry.
• Define accounting policies, choose tools, and write SOPs to support the company's long-term financial operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct ownership of ERP migration or implementation.
• Experience with inventory accounting and COGS for a physical-goods business.
• Fluency with accounting systems, data models, and API-based integrations.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, and intercompany accounting.
• Builder's mindset with the ability to define policy from first principles without a playbook.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
