What you will do

• Lead global tax strategy covering federal, state, and international planning.
• Manage US and international tax compliance, including corporate income tax returns and indirect tax filings.
• Oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Direct transfer pricing policies and monitor OECD guidance and global minimum tax developments.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR on corporate structure, equity compensation, and M&A activity.
• Build scalable tax processes and mentor team members as the tax function expands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in US corporate taxation, international tax, and ASC 740.
• Experience working within a multinational SaaS or technology company.
• Must be based in Austin, TX.

• MST or JD/LLM in Tax.
• Background in high-growth startups or late-stage private company environments.
• Expertise in international VAT and sales tax compliance.
• Knowledge of Campfire and tax automation tools.
