TL;DR
Planning Analyst (Defence Technology): Building and maintaining demand, supply, and inventory planning models, KPI dashboards, and management reporting data packs with an accent on S&OP data preparation, operational analytics, and data quality. What you will do
- Build and maintain planning models for demand, supply, and inventory.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business review data packs covering actuals, targets, KPIs, and variance commentary.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards in Power BI or an equivalent tool.
- Support S&OP data preparation by consolidating inputs, validating data, and identifying gaps.
- Work with the BI/Reporting Analyst to migrate manual exports into structured data pipelines.
- Handle ad hoc analytical requests from the OPA Lead and operational stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in operations planning, supply chain analysis, or business analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex models, structured references, and clean formatting.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for querying and validating operational data.
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI or an equivalent tool.
- Structured thinking and strong attention to detail.
- BSc in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field.
Nice to have
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and operational data structures.
- Experience working in an S&OP process.
