Marketplace Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne, Germany; the role is full-time and primarily associated with the Cologne site. Work from home may be arranged for eligible roles, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Own standardized dashboards, KPI logic, and advanced analytics for Marketplace teams across multiple countries.
• Analyze commercial and customer questions using predictive modelling, segmentation, trend analysis, and cohort analysis.
• Develop forecasting, scenario modelling, and evidence-based business cases with Marketplace, Controlling, Marketing, and Category Management.
• Partner with Data/BI and Finance to automate reporting and improve the scalability, speed, and integrity of the data landscape.
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for Marketplace Country Heads, commercial leadership, and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data science, or commercial planning.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, advanced analytics, and business case development.
• Strong Python skills and advanced proficiency with SQL, R, and Power BI.
• Experience with Databricks, data pipelines, ETL processes, DBT, and data architecture principles.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses as clear recommendations in an international environment.
• Fluent English is required.
