Associate Data Operations Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office. Working hours are 11:00–20:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours around client deadlines or holiday cover.

What you will do

• Process, reconcile, cleanse, transform, and verify client data used for regulatory and compliance filings.
• Maintain mapping tables, working files, process documentation, and operational change records.
• Monitor data traffic, internal tools, and filing schedules, following up on delayed submissions.
• Investigate data issues and client or business queries, resolving or escalating inconsistencies.
• Create and load filings, perform calculations, and complete validation and quality checks.
• Collaborate with analysts, specialists, subject-matter experts, and global colleagues to improve processes and controls.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree, ideally in finance or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in a similar data processing or operational data role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic SQL knowledge, including the ability to read and understand queries.
• Experience with data reconciliation, verification, transformation, or mapping.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, deadline management, and ability to handle multiple priorities with limited supervision after onboarding.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, investment services, or SaaS.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting, compliance operations, or filing activities.
• Experience with VBA macros, Python, recurring client deliverables, or large data volumes.
