Experienced GL Accountant (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid (up to 50% remote), must be based in Liège, Belgium

What you will do

• Prepare monthly and annual closings to provide management with relevant financial information.
• Analyze and monitor balance sheets and P&Ls.
• Prepare audit files and collaborate with external auditors.
• Manage the Procure-to-Pay flow, including payment workflows.
• Optimize ERP and finance applications with an "Automation First" mindset to reduce manual work.
• Leverage AI tools for repetitive tasks such as reconciliations, matching, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a financial field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a large company (50+ people).
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and BEGAAP standards.
• Strong knowledge of the Belgian fiscal environment, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Proficiency in Excel (complex formulas) and ERP systems (D365 is an asset).
• Excellent knowledge of French and ability to communicate in English.
