Energy Efficiency Market Engagement Manager (Business)

Location: Remote, with New Jersey residency required

Salary: $80,000–$126,000 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop and manage relationships with contractors, trade organizations, unions, subcontractors, and industry groups.
• Recruit contractors for multifamily energy efficiency programs based on program needs and priorities.
• Coordinate with subcontractor partners to execute program delivery strategies and achieve energy savings goals.
• Monitor program participation and adjust recruitment strategies to improve results.
• Provide training and ongoing support on program updates, submission deadlines, safety, and related requirements.
• Lead partner meetings, resolve issues, and present program offerings to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in contractor or trades management.
• Previous experience managing training and recruitment activities.
• Demonstrated success engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors, and trade organizations.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to establish expectations with different trades.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools; New Jersey residency is required.
