Technical Engineering Manager (Java)

What you will do

• Lead a team of Java software engineers responsible for casino game provider integrations and Game Play functionality.
• Own and drive the team’s technical roadmap in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Ensure production stability, solution quality, security, testing, documentation, and systematic reduction of technical debt.
• Lead Agile processes, capacity planning, resource allocation, and predictable delivery of compliant outcomes.
• Balance product delivery with technical excellence and ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
• Mentor engineers, support career growth, recruit talent, and foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and team wellness.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or in a similar role.
• Strong software development background with hands-on experience in system design, architecture, and technical debt management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and improving team processes.
• Demonstrated ownership of technical and business outcomes, with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including experience building high-performing teams.
• Experience collaborating with architecture, UX, product, and other cross-functional teams.
