TL;DR

Office Assistant / Bookkeeper (Finance): Supporting daily financial and administrative operations with an accent on bookkeeping accuracy and vendor management. Focus on reconciling payments in QuickBooks, maintaining financial records, and managing reporting spreadsheets.

Location: Must be based in the Philippines or the Dominican Republic. Work schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

What you will do

  • Receive, file, and organize bills and financial documentation.
  • Record and reconcile payments in QuickBooks to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Maintain updated vendor records and manage communications.
  • Prepare and manage reports using Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and office coordination.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the Philippines or the Dominican Republic.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Insurance industry experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
