Senior Engineering Manager, Program Management (Manufacturing)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W1. Travel to Thailand for one month of on-the-job training is required; regular travel is otherwise listed as none.

What you will do

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across in-house and outsourced manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams from NPI build readiness through volume stability and end-of-life.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness, product quality, reliability, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Develop production plans, cost-reduction initiatives, yield-improvement strategies, and process-optimization roadmaps.
• Lead program reviews, identify and mitigate risks, align deliverables and timelines, and manage escalations involving quality, manufacturing, performance, or supply disruptions.
• Select, develop, and evaluate program managers and cross-functional contributors while supporting customer engagements and technology readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, product management, manufacturing engineering, or operations.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs from NPI through volume manufacturing in high-volume production environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, NPI processes, product lifecycle management, quality systems, cost management, yield improvement, and operational performance.
• Experience with ODM or contract-manufacturing partners and familiarity with PLM, MES, ERP, and program-tracking tools.
• Open to one month of on-the-job training in Thailand.

Nice to have

• Experience in HDD, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing.
• PMP, Agile, or program-management certification.
