Engineering Program Manager (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end hardware NPI and software release programs from concept through production release and customer delivery.
• Own integrated schedules, milestones, risks, KPIs, phase-gate reviews, and executive status communications.
• Coordinate software releases for network operating systems such as SONiC, including readiness reviews, code freezes, integration testing, bug triage, and release criteria.
• Align software, firmware, ASIC, silicon, QA, operations, and product management workstreams to resolve dependencies and integration blockers.
• Manage release governance, including branching strategies, freeze windows, rollback procedures, and post-release retrospectives.
• Build scalable dashboards, templates, reporting mechanisms, and program management practices as the organization grows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering program management, technical project management, or a related role in hardware, software, or networking.
• Deep experience with software NPI phase-gate processes or equivalent milestone-driven development in Agile environments.
• Strong command of software release lifecycle practices, including feature planning, code freeze, regression testing, and general availability releases.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with software engineering, product management, QA, operations, and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent project management tools, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in networking, data center infrastructure, AI/ML infrastructure, or high-performance computing networking.
• Hands-on experience with SONiC, Cumulus, NX-OS, EOS, Open Network Linux, or Linux-based networking platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC practices, release KPI frameworks, or hardware-coupled development cycles.
• Experience mentoring program managers and establishing program management practices at scaling organizations.
• PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.
