Broadcast Deployment Technician

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (On-Site); frequent national and international travel required.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain on-air graphics, augmented reality, and playout systems for live productions.
• Support the implementation and optimization of automated deployment processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients during project execution.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and audiovisual issues to maintain operational continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver reliable and scalable broadcast solutions.
• Improve deployment processes and technical workflows while adapting to new technologies and live production requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in video engineering, audio engineering, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the broadcast industry.
• Strong knowledge of network systems and knowledge of video and audio technologies.
• Basic understanding of programming and electronics, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English at C1 level or higher.
• Valid driving licence and availability for frequent national and international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying broadcast graphics or playout solutions.
• Familiarity with live production workflows.
• Experience supporting international broadcast projects.
• Interest in broadcast technology, media, or live production environments.
