Senior Installation Engineer (Subsea/Offshore)

Location: Paris, France or Lisbon, Portugal. The role includes occasional business trips, site assignments, vessel mobilisation, and offshore installation campaigns.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Installation & Construction engineering activities across project packages, tenders, and engineering studies.
• Serve as the technical interface between engineering teams, project management, clients, and offshore operations.
• Review the installability of subsea equipment, tooling, products, and third-party solutions.
• Coordinate engineering for umbilical installation, flexible lay, lifting operations, and SURF projects.
• Manage technical deliverables, documentation, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and engineering changes.
• Support vessel mobilisation, offshore installation campaigns, design reviews, HAZID workshops, and operational readiness activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in offshore or subsea installation engineering.
• Strong expertise in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF), offshore vessel operations, umbilical installation, flexible lay, and lifting operations.
• Experience with construction methodologies, equipment installability, risk assessment, risk mitigation, management of change, HAZID, constructability, and readiness reviews.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage technical interfaces, and mentor junior engineers.
• Fluent English is required; a valid BOSIET certification is required for offshore campaigns.
