Continuous Improvement Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Map value streams, conduct time studies, and analyze data across warehouse and assembly operations.
• Optimize production safety, quality, and efficiency using Lean Manufacturing methods.
• Apply A3, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 5S+Safety, Standard Operating Work, Gemba, Kaizen, and shadow boards.
• Analyze first-pass yield and lead focused Kaizen events to reduce defects.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering on poka-yoke and visual-control solutions.
• Identify production technologies, support operational targets, and prepare training materials on World Class Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, plus 3+ years of direct manufacturing experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree and 1 year of experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical products or white goods and with continuous improvement in production and warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end optimization projects, value stream mapping, and material flow.
• Strong mathematics, return-on-investment analysis, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Visio, and discrete-event simulation tools such as Arena or equivalent.
• Travel of up to 10% may be required.

Nice to have

• LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
