Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Greystanes, NSW, Australia; onsite manufacturing role with travel to international sites as required

What you will do

• Optimize manufacturing, warehouse, production, and repair processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, capacity, and capability.
• Develop and modify line layouts, material flows, work instructions, routings, and associated processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why, and Eight Disciplines methods.
• Support the design and fabrication of fixtures for assembling, handling, and packaging electronic gaming machines and components.
• Collaborate with development engineering, operations, supply chain, suppliers, and international sites on process technologies and mass-production methods.
• Support new product introduction, risk assessments, corrective actions, and the transition from concept to mass manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on industrial experience designing and developing manufacturing and repair processes and equipment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, operational excellence, data-driven root cause analysis, and structured problem solving.
• Strong data analysis, communication, project management, financial, and commercial manufacturing skills.
• Hands-on technical problem-solving ability and willingness to travel when required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Power Apps.
• Experience developing creative improvements to manufacturing methods.
