HR Operations Specialist

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid model with 3 days per week from the Lisbon office.

What you will do

• Resolve first-line HR questions from employees and managers regarding policies, benefits, absences, and procedures.
• Process employee lifecycle transactions in HR systems while maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Administer employee benefits and process related documentation.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain HR policy documentation, records, databases, and basic payroll, absence, and leave reports.
• Participate in HR system upgrades, pilots, testing, and employee education on self-service tools.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of HR operations experience in a fast-paced international environment.
• Excellent Portuguese and English language skills, with English at B2–C1 level.
• Hands-on experience calculating working time, interpreting complex regulations, ensuring compliance, and improving related processes.
• Experience employing foreign nationals, including legal requirements, documentation, onboarding, and compliance.
• Strong Microsoft Office and G-Suite skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Customer-service orientation and the ability to communicate positively with employees, managers, and multiple organizational levels.
