What you will do
- Draft, update, and enforce compliance policies across finance, HR, IT, and operations departments.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify exposure and recommend controls.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of compliance and awareness.
- Lead internal investigations into compliance issues and document findings for corrective action.
- Prepare and present compliance dashboards and risk summaries to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
- Proficiency with compliance monitoring and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of at least one regulatory framework (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Must be based in Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Brazil, or Mexico.
- Ability to work U.S. client business hours.
Nice to have
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
- Experience in finance, healthcare, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks like COSO or ISO 31000.
