Compliance & Governance Manager

Location: Remote - UK

Salary: £325 annual Lifestyle Reward, in addition to the standard compensation package

What you will do

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, registers, and compliance evidence across Harris UK Business Units.
• Monitor legal, regulatory, contractual, privacy, information security, quality, and certification compliance.
• Facilitate risk assessments, incident management, supplier assurance, third-party risk management, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver risk-based internal audit programmes, produce reports and recommendations, and track findings through completion.
• Coordinate certification audits and surveillance activities for applicable management systems and standards.
• Advise operational, technical, legal, HR, and leadership stakeholders on compliance, governance, privacy, information security, AI governance, and regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in compliance, governance, risk, information security, privacy, quality, or regulatory work.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, management systems, internal audits, and compliance programmes.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and broader regulatory compliance obligations.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 and/or ISO 9001 management systems, with experience in areas such as ISO 42001, NHS DSPT, DCB0129, DCB0160, UKCA, or MHRA compliance.
• Experience in SaaS, software, healthcare technology, or regulated technology environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, organisational, stakeholder-management, and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI governance and emerging regulatory frameworks.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or multi-business group environments.
• Professional certifications in compliance, governance, auditing, information security, privacy, risk, or quality management.
