What you will do

• Design and implement documentation content structure and taxonomy across the product suite.
• Build and maintain content authoring infrastructure, including tool implementation and publishing workflows.
• Manage, hire, and mentor the technical writing team, overseeing performance and workload.
• Partner with product, engineering, and support teams to define documentation scope and release timing.
• Author substantial portions of administrator and user guides while modeling quality standards.
• Analyze user feedback and support data to identify content gaps and prioritize improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical writing with 3+ years managing writers at a SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Paligo.
• Proven ability to design information architecture for large product suites.
• Experience moving teams from ad-hoc processes to systematic documentation standards.
• Experience using AI tools to generate content drafts and automate processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer or mortgage lending software.
• Exposure to API and developer documentation.
