What you will do

• Lead architecture and technical strategy for large-scale Azure programs, ensuring solutions meet security, scalability, and performance goals.
• Define enterprise data platform strategy centered on Databricks, including lakehouse design, governance, and security models.
• Provide organizational-wide technical leadership, mentoring senior architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Translate complex business strategies into actionable cloud architecture roadmaps and execution plans.
• Oversee team health, resource alignment, and professional development, fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Drive sales opportunities by partnering with account teams to shape technical solutions and influence executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
• 12+ years of experience in application development, cloud platform engineering, or data and analytics at enterprise scale.
• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading engineering teams at program scale.
• Deep architectural expertise with Databricks (Spark optimization, Delta Lake) and Azure-native data services.
• Proven experience leading Azure-based modernization, transformation, or AI programs.
• Strong consulting background with the ability to influence executive and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple cloud vendors and complementary platforms like Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
• Relevant certifications such as Databricks Champion or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
