Salary: $131,256.00 - $223,134.00

What you will do

• Define and maintain overall solution architecture, technical standards, and reference architectures for mission-critical systems.
• Lead architectural design decisions across multiple teams to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Establish integration patterns and API strategies to support enterprise data exchange and mission workflows.
• Guide engineering teams in implementing cloud-native architectures, primarily using Azure.
• Align system designs with Federal security and compliance requirements, including ATO processes.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads on architecture best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as a lead or senior technical architect guiding enterprise system decisions.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or TOGAF.
• Experience with geospatial systems, environmental data platforms, or land management applications.
• Experience leading legacy system transformations to cloud-native architectures.
