Location: Must be based in the USA (specifically CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA). Not hiring within Chicago city limits. Hybrid options available in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year (for roles in CA, CO, NJ, WA, and NY).

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable solutions for the IT service desk and helpdesk ticketing product.
• Develop and evolve deep integrations between ticketing and endpoint management capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of large-scale applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement design patterns and solve enterprise-level software challenges.
• Ensure high-availability and performance of mission-critical systems running on AWS.
• Maintain quality-first standards through rigorous testing and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be located in the USA (CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA).
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
• 10+ years of experience in Java software development.
• 4+ years of experience working with highly scalable software systems.
• Expertise in OOP design principles, API best practices, and REST service development.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and development.

Nice to have

• Solid expertise in Kotlin.
• Experience with caching systems and Redis.
• Knowledge of large-scale datastore bottlenecks and asynchronous application design.
