What you will do

• Develop core services for the hirify.global Studio brokerage experience.
• Implement systems for user authentication, authorization, and client data delivery.
• Solve complex system design problems to maintain high SLAs and system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and evolve technical standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to push the boundaries of financial technology.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience with Java and the Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Proven track record of building highly scalable distributed systems handling massive data.
• Strong command of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
• Must be based in New York, NY and able to work in-office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with OAuth2 and fine-grained authorization (e.g., Auth0 FGA or Authzed).
• Proficiency with gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
