What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable backend services for Trips and CRM, including email and push notification pipelines.
• Develop high-performance systems for bulk and transactional messaging.
• Build features to drive user retention, such as price alerts and personalized engagement touchpoints.
• Architect and maintain robust integrations with third-party APIs and marketing platforms.
• Lead end-to-end technical scoping and architecture decisions from design to production support.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with SQL (e.g., MySQL).
• Proven track record of designing and owning complex backend features end-to-end.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and globally distributed engineering teams.
• Education in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS for debugging full-stack solutions.
