Design Engineer

Location: Onsite in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

What you will do

• Collaborate with product engineers to develop design specifications and drawings that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support product engineering projects within a structured design and development process.
• Participate in problem solving, failure analysis, and delivery of robust designs.
• Take part in design reviews, design for manufacturing, and design for assembly activities for new products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, and enhancement of engineering tools and skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Fully bilingual, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in design engineering, including CAD.
• Experience with 3D parametric solid modeling; SolidWorks experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and component or assembly tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of analytical problem solving and prioritization.
