What you will do
- Support the engineering development of construction toy products from initial concept to production launch.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure product requirements are met.
- Manage Engineering Pilot (EP) and Final Engineering Pilot (FEP) builds to resolve technical issues before mass production.
- Review and validate engineering documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Oversee tooling development, mold qualification, and production readiness activities.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve team technical capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in product engineering or building set development.
- Strong knowledge of plastic part design, tooling, and injection molding processes.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to Asia.
