Senior Product Development Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support the engineering development of construction toy products from initial concept to production launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure product requirements are met.
• Manage Engineering Pilot (EP) and Final Engineering Pilot (FEP) builds to resolve technical issues before mass production.
• Review and validate engineering documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Oversee tooling development, mold qualification, and production readiness activities.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve team technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in product engineering or building set development.
• Strong knowledge of plastic part design, tooling, and injection molding processes.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to Asia.
