Product Engineer (Furniture Design)

What you will do

• Develop and manage new product designs from initial concept through to mass production.
• Create detailed product specifications, engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Lead all CAD activities within projects and modify existing drawings to support manufacturing and purchasing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute prototypes timely.
• Support day-to-day production and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality teams to ensure process capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Product Development.
• 5 years of professional CAD experience, preferably with CREO, leading large projects.
• Proven experience with CNC wood programming and textile CNC cutters.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of engineering tools including DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, GD&T, and Root Cause Analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience designing and engineering upholstered furniture (plywood, solid wood, foam).
• Knowledge of BIFMA standards.
• Bachelor's degree in applied arts.
