Senior Manager, Corporate Development

Location: United States of America; flexible hybrid work with occasional in-person events or team sessions.

Salary: $122,250–$255,000 per year, with potential discretionary annual bonus or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage target pipelines, market maps, strategic theses, and sourcing across acquisitions, partnerships, and AI-native businesses.
• Build operating models, valuation, returns analysis, and recommendations using DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and accretion and dilution methods.
• Lead cross-functional diligence across finance, legal, tax, product, engineering, and people teams, including data rooms and request lists.
• Draft transaction materials such as process letters, letters of intent, term sheets, management presentations, investment memos, executive committee materials, and board-ready decks.
• Coordinate integration and separation planning, including transition services agreements, operating model design, and affected-function stand-up or wind-down.
• Use AI tools for research, diligence, modeling, drafting, target evaluation, and internal workflow development while coordinating stakeholders through post-close execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or growth equity.
• Proven ownership of financial models and valuation across multiple completed transactions, with command of the M&A process from sourcing through close.
• Ability to independently produce board-ready written communication and manage concurrent workstreams and senior stakeholders.
• Practical fluency with modern AI tools for diligence synthesis, first-pass memos and analyses, internal trackers, lightweight workflows, and evaluation of AI-native targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in media, advertising technology, consumer internet, subscription, or SaaS businesses.
• Buy-side and sell-side transaction experience, including divestitures and carve-outs.
• Experience with private-equity-backed or sponsor-owned operating environments and reporting expectations.
• Advanced degree or credential such as an MBA or CFA.
• Commitment to continuous learning and developing AI knowledge, skills, and practical application.
