Associate, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid; available location in San Francisco, California. Candidates progressing to the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Salary: $117,000–$161,000 annual salary for Bay Area-based hires. Compensation may vary by work location. The role is also eligible for hirify.global’s equity plan.

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including press releases, supplemental financial information, prepared remarks, Q&A materials, investor decks, 10-Qs, and 10-Ks.
• Build and maintain consensus, operating, share count, dilution, and guidance models; analyze sell-side estimates against internal forecasts.
• Support engagement with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, investor events, conferences, one-on-ones, investor visits, and non-deal roadshows.
• Prepare briefing materials, investor profiles, talking points, Q&A preparation, presentations, fact sheets, and IR website content for executives.
• Support the annual Investor Day and contribute to peer benchmarking, competitive analysis, long-range modeling, and ad hoc strategic finance projects.
• Monitor analyst coverage, peer results, investor sentiment, and industry trends; build dashboards, trackers, validation tools, and AI-enabled automation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including operating models, consensus models, and share count and dilution forecasts.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, public-company reporting, and valuation.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial or technical concepts in clear narratives for senior executives.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial disclosures and investor materials.
• Ownership mindset, organization, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, particularly during earnings season.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, FP&A, and the executive team.
• Fluency with modern AI tooling and a track record of using it to improve impact, productivity, and rigor.
• Sound judgment with confidential information, including awareness of materiality and fair disclosure, and familiarity with Reg FD or strong willingness to learn.

• Exposure to public technology companies.
• Familiarity with SaaS or consumption-based revenue models.
• Genuine interest in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI, and in the public markets.
