Location: Hybrid, based out of the NYC office in Chelsea, three days a week

Salary: $120,000-$160,000 + 10% discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop high-yield manufacturing and assembly processes for robotic components and subassemblies.
• Set up and ramp production lines with suppliers, optimizing layout and material flow.
• Collaborate on product design to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Define and deploy workstation layouts, fixtures, and gauges at contract manufacturers.
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan development to mitigate process risks.
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause resolution for quality issues across the supply chain.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in hardware (robotics, consumer electronics, or medical devices).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools for fixture design.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Experience with NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT) and volume production ramp.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
