Salary: $154,350 - $289,380

What you will do

• Design and develop end-to-end features across the full stack using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres.
• Architect and optimize backend data models, APIs, and services for performance and maintainability.
• Build and refine user interfaces that simplify complex hardware manufacturing workflows.
• Implement a strong automated testing culture with unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Boltline platform.
• Mentor mid-level and internship engineers through code reviews and design collaboration.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or eligibility for U.S. Government space technology export authorizations (ITAR).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production web applications.
• Deep expertise in full-stack TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres.
• Experience designing and maintaining backend services (Node.js, Next.js, or similar).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience with modern testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, Apollo (Client/Server), or Hasura.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and AWS infrastructure.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Temporal, Kafka, or similar.
• Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Exposure to manufacturing, aerospace, or complex physical systems.
