What you will do

• Prospect, identify, and qualify potential clients and opportunities within the utility and energy sectors.
• Conduct outbound outreach via calls and emails to secure meetings with key decision-makers.
• Review and summarize utility filings for DSM and DER initiatives and mandates.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to develop customized proposals aligned with client objectives.
• Maintain accurate interaction and pipeline records within CRM systems.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to expand visibility.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in utility business development, sales, or account management.
• Must be located in the United States.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, energy efficiency, and regulatory environments.
• Proficiency with CRM software, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including 3-4 trips per quarter.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
