Accounting Operations Manager (Finance)

What you will do

• Own the accounting operations function, including procure-to-pay, payroll, and expense management.
• Manage accounts payable, payment operations, vendor onboarding, and corporate card administration.
• Oversee payroll accounting, including reconciliation of liabilities, deductions, and tax filings.
• Design and implement automated workflows and accounting systems to strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with Finance, People, and IT teams to improve operational efficiency and workflows.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and support the monthly financial close process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience implementing accounting systems and owning operational accounting functions (AP, payroll).
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits and maintaining documentation.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in a later-stage venture-backed environment.
• Proficiency with Quick Books Online, Ramp, and Rippling.
• Tech industry experience.
