Staff Accountant (Finance)

Staff Accountant (Finance): Ensuring financial integrity and accuracy of NORAM financial statements through general ledger accounting and close activities with an accent on compliance, consistency, and quality of financial outcomes. Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Remote-friendly/Hybrid). Not available for candidates residing in the state of Hawaii.

Salary: $60K - 70K USD (base + bonus)

What you will do

• Own and review month-end close activities and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate external contractor cost tracking and ensure balance sheet integrity.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve mismatches.
• Support audits to ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards.
• Perform financial analysis and variance reviews in partnership with stakeholders.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in R2R/GL accounting and month-end close.
• Proficiency in IFRS (required) and US GAAP (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated practical experience using AI to improve workflows or automate tasks.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
