What you will do

• Diagnose and map high-friction revenue close workflows including reconciliations, tie-outs, and variance analysis.
• Partner with Revenue Accounting and Systems Engineering to translate accounting needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Implement controlled AI-assisted workflows for repeatable analysis and documentation to improve quality and speed.
• Deliver durable process and tooling improvements that reduce recurring close effort and error risk.
• Establish operational rigor by creating clear documentation, control narratives, and testing approaches.

Requirements

• Fluency in ASC 606 and month-end close mechanics is required.
• Proven track record of improving finance and accounting operations end-to-end.
• Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to move work from idea to delivery.
• Experience partnering with technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Practical experience using AI to improve quality and speed in repeatable accounting tasks.
• Must be able to work from the San Francisco office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
