Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Salary: $112,500–$161,500 (based on location)

What you will do

• Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate reporting of liabilities and expenses.
• Review and interpret contracts and vendor agreements to assess accounting implications.
• Perform technical accounting research and present findings to support decision-making.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure compliance with company policy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes using AI and automation tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate high-quality decision-making on expense matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to close processes and accruals.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego or Mountain View at least 3 days a week.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and ability to apply principles in practice.
• Ability to perform technical accounting research and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active CPA candidate status.
• Experience reviewing contracts and interpreting vendor agreement terms.
• Familiarity with Coupa, CLM, Oracle, or BlackLine.
